Edelweiss Speedway presents an excellent race schedule during May

Gatineau, PQ – The 2007 season is on our door step and there will be a lot of racing action at Edelweiss during the month of May at the 3/8 mile track located at about 15 minutes north of Gatineau.

 

          Everything gets underway on Saturday, May 5 with the annual practice and inspection day for all classes. This day is free of admission for everyone and gives an opportunity to the drivers to test and tune their race cars for the upcoming season. For the race fans, it is a great day to get closer to the action and have an occasion to see the car a lot closer than usual. The practice starts at 10am to conclude at 4pm. If Saturday is cancelled, it will be postponed to Sunday, May 6.

         

          The regular starts on Friday, May 11 with a 50 laps for the modifieds. The night sponsored by Dupont & Dupont (Duportage Ford & Cité Chrysler) will also have a complete racing program for all classes. The fans will also receive a calendar when they will arrive to the speedway.

         

          On Friday, May 18, it will be the beginning of the speedways mini-series for the Pro-Stock sponsored by Services de Pneu Capital and also for the Modifieds sponsored by that nights sponsor Les Fondations BRL. A complete program is also on hand for that evening.

 

          L’imprimerie Brisson will host the T-Shirt night on Friday, May 25. The first 400 fans will receive a free T-Shirt. The first race of Les Toitures Marcel Raymond mini-series for the Semi-Pro class will be held along with a complete racing program.

 

          With these 3 great nights of racing action, the 2007 season of Edelweiss Speedway will start in fashion. Do not forget that Friday night racing starts at 7:45pm sharp. Do not miss it !!!
